My name is Jacinta Lindsay and I'm a qualified Medical Herbalist and Remedial Massage Therapist. I live in Peregian Springs, which is in the Noosa area on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. I'm passionate about natural therapies and enjoy helping others so that they may live healthier and happier lives. In 2010 I made the move from Sydney as I felt that I needed a lifestyle change from the fast pace of 'city living'. I had always holidayed in the the Noosa area, so knew that I would move here eventually. My qualifications were gained at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies (“ACNT”) in Sydney from 1989 - 1992 Diploma of Botanical Medicine & Diploma of Remedial Massage. I completed another Remedial Massage Diploma in 2013 at the Australian School of Remedial Therapies. Then in 2018 I completed a course in Hot Stone Massage at the Q Academy in Maroochydore just to add something different to my massages in the winter months. I am an accredited member and Fellow of the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society Limited "ATMS" (membership no. 2752) and adhere to a code of conduct and standard of practice. ATMS is Australia’s largest professional association of massage therapists, herbalists, homeopaths, acupuncturists, naturopaths and nutritionists, representing around 12,000 accredited practitioners throughout Australia. Registration with ATMS provides reassurance to a patient that the natural therapist has achieved the appropriate level of qualifications to practice. As an accredited member of ATMS I am required to update my clinical skills and knowledge each year by completing a minimum of 40 hours of professional training in order to maintain my qualifications. I hold a Queensland Government Blue Card which means I am authorised to work with children. Card number 1362710/2. I am a caring person that likes to connect with people. I love what I do... helping people feel better! I will ease those muscle aches by massaging away any restrictions in the muscle fibres. I have the training and the experience to know how to get the best results. As a Medical Herbalist I have a wealth of knowledge in natural therapies as well. If you prefer to go to a clinic where you don’t have to speak to anyone or have a consultation, go to a Westfield Shopping Centre Massage Clinic. You won’t be happy with me, as I will want to do a professional consultation, asking you questions about your work, your posture, how you use your body, etc. I’m a warm, friendly person, because I suffer from migraines, so it makes me extremely empathetic towards others that are in pain and suffering. That is the main reason that I left Sydney and moved to the Sunshine Coast. Also I love the lifestyle up here, the beauty of nature, the slower pace of life, the friendliness, its more me. My client's health and wellbeing are of the utmost importance. I strive to provide quality 'natural' healthcare, with excellent clinical results, at a reasonable price.
