Did you enjoy your massage?
Want to know how you can get more massage time for FREE?
Writing a review of your massage experience assists others to make choices and helps to promote my business in the community.
In order to show appreciation to my valued clients, I would like to offer you an extra 10 minutes massage time added to your next appointment for writing a review of my services. I aim to provide one of the Best Massage experiences on the Sunshine Coast. I don't charge for my consultation time. My scheduling time slots are 90 minutes so I allocate up to an extra 20 minutes after your massage time to cover consultation time, changing and payment. So, if you book in at 1:30pm, I ask that you arrive at exactly 1:30pm, as I don't have a waiting room area. Upon arrival, you will need to complete a Client Information Form. This is a legal and health fund requirement and includes a basic medical history. We also have a discussion about your injuries and concerns and do a basic assessment. You get the Best Value from me, because I care! I want to help you feel better! Whether you book in for a Remedial Massage, Relaxation Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stone Massage or even a Chair Massage, I will ensure you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I play carefully selected soothing background music which is purely instrumental. A different album for each consecutive visit, which I have numbered, to change the experience slightly. After a client has heard all of them, being thirty four, I cycle through them again. I make a note in each client appointment of the music album number I play, along with the date of the treatment and detailed session notes. Why, you ask? Because I'm meticulous... Music therapy is part of the experience, it helps your mind to unwind and let go. Women in particular take longer to relax their minds, and stop their thoughts from racing through "To Do Lists", "Grocery Lists", "What They Need To Do Next?" So I make a point of finding music with the right tempo to slow down their thought processes and brain waves so that they can just "be in the moment" and sometimes actually fall asleep. Generally men have no trouble falling asleep during a massage. My remedial massages start with some relaxation massage to warm up the muscles and relax the nervous system. Remedial massage uses techniques which are specific for muscular pain, dysfunction and tension. To lengthen chronically shortened and over-used muscles, deep tissue massage techniques with forearms, elbows and thumbs are used. I include myofascial stretches to your upper back at the end of a remedial massage. I use a towel to massage away any excess massage oil, so that when you get dressed again, your clothing doesn't stick to you. Once you are dressed and sitting down, I offer you a glass of filtered water to hydrate your body. If we have time, I also try to include assisted stretching to your neck, shoulders and upper back muscles as this is the perfect time when the muscles are warmed up and lengthened. As massage lowers your blood pressure and deeply relaxes you, some people may feel light headed afterwards. Many clients lead busy lives and rely on stimulants like coffee to get through their work days, so relaxing is unfamiliar to them. I genuinely care for your well-being, so I want to ensure you are feeling well before you leave. Overall your massage should be relaxing, enjoyable and beneficial. If, after your massage, you need to use the bathroom, I have a bathroom here that is only for client use and is always kept clean (I'm slightly OCD!). It is stocked with tissues, cotton buds, makeup remover, deodorant, moisturiser, hand lotion etc. If there is anything else you need, just let me know I am always happy to help. :)
